  4. 1 Gondhoraj lebu (Gondhoraj lime)

  6. 1/2 inch long cinnamon stick
  7. 2-3 cardamom
  8. 4-5 clpves
  9. 1/2 teaspoon Whole black pepper
  10. 1/4 cup curd
  11. Salt
  12. Clarified butter
  13. Cassia leaves 2-3
  14. Cashew and raisin handful of

Steps to make to make Gondhoraj Pulao

  1. First wash and air dry Gobindovog rice..heat 2-3 cups water and take zest from a gondhoraj lime.
  2. Coarsely grind the whole spices. And make gondhoraj ghol by mixing curd and half cup water salt and lime zest.
  3. In a pan add ghee in that fry cashew and raisins and keep the fried cashew - raisins aside.
  4. Add one tablespoon ghee morein pan, in that add casia leaves and green chilli, then add coarsely grounded whole spices
  5. When spices are little infused in oil add dried rice gradually and saute rice until glassy effect occurs.
  6. Now add gondhoraj ghol prepared before. Stir well. Now add hot water
  7. Add lime zest in it, stir well, now cover and cook in low flame for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring in between. When rice is properly boiled mix the gondhoraj lime juice.
  8. Mix the fried cashew and raisins and mix.. Gondhoraj Polao is ready.
  9. Note please keep everything ready before you start making this recipe as the processes take very short time to get ready
